But if I were starting again and wanted to actually get my social media together before August ends, here’s what I would do. No gatekeeping.
Spoiler Alert: It’s about strategy, not aesthetics.

Step 1: Make a Plan
Posting without a strategy is like closing your eyes and throwing darts at the wall.
Here’s how you get your stuff together:
Define Your Goals:
Are you trying to drive sales? Build a community? Go viral? Cool. Name it and push toward your goal. Make it specific.
“Grow my engagement rate by 20% by November" > “Post more.”
Know Your Audience:
If you don't know who you're targeting, you're basically talking to a wall. Use your insights, stalk your followers, and figure out what they actually want to see.
Pick Your Platform:
Stop trying to be everywhere all at once. Choose the places where your people actually hang out. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn…Just pick your lane.
Lock In Who You Are
Your tone should scream who you are. This is how you attract the right followers (and repel the wrong ones).
Step 2: Batch Like a Boss
Stop the “What should I post today?” panic. You deserve peace.
Audit What You Have
Go back through your old content. What worked? What totally failed? What made someone slide up on your story and send you heart eyes?

Schedule a CEO Day
Pick one day a week or month to plan, write, design, and schedule. Make it a date. Romanticize your content schedule.
